What's in a name.......?

foutery - is a Scottish adjective meaning: requiring close attention to detail, demanding maticulous intricacy. Pronounced - 'foot-ery'

My background

I studied at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, where I gained a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing.

I was born in Irvine, and now reside in Fife having spent time in England and the USA. My collections have featured in several shops and galleries throught Dallas, Texas and the US.

The Jewellery

I use traditional chainmail techniques in sterling silver and semi-precious stones. My jewellery is inspired by the colours and textures of the Scottish Highlands

When I tell you that each necklace is made out of around 350 individual jump rings, each one hand woven into place, then perhaps you will understand why......this has been done just for you - so enjoy!
